From the first rays of sunshine, our heated swimming pool becomes vacationers’ favorite spot. With its direct view of the lake, it invites both relaxation and the joy of swimming. Children have fun on the slide while the youngest splash safely in the dedicated paddling pool. Deckchairs are available for sunbathing or reading by the water. Open from May to September depending on the weather, this pool is ideal for enjoying your vacation, in complete relaxation, between two walks or after a busy day at the campsite with a heated pool in Vendée.

Our campsite in Vendée is located on the edge of a magnificent 5-hectare lake, a privileged setting for reconnecting with nature. You can go fishing (permits sold on site), pedal boating, or simply admire the sun’s reflections on the water. Swimming is prohibited here, but the atmosphere is peaceful, conducive to contemplation and rest. A children’s playground is accessible near the lakeside campsite near Mervent for the enjoyment of little ones. The calm atmosphere and the beauty of the place offer everyone a moment of total disconnection.

– Safari Tent : a comfortable tent for 6 people with a mobile kitchen, covered terrace, and lake view.
– Spacious Chalets : All our chalets are intimately furnished and have a lake view. They are located on large pitches, shaded or sunny, with a private bathroom, equipped kitchen, TV, and terrace.
– Hiker’s Cabin: perfectly suited for hikers, cyclists, and motorcyclists who don’t want to set up a tent. The cabin has a bunk bed and a wooden terrace with two chairs and a picnic table.
– Camping pitches: we have 21 pitches for rent near Mervent, directly on the banks of a stream. All pitches are equipped with electricity (10A), an extension lead and a European plug, and a water point is always nearby. Nous avons des emplacements ombragés et d’autres en plein soleil.

THE FAQ
01 Are pets allowed?
Your four-legged friends are welcome at the campsite provided they are vaccinated and kept on a leash. You will find a dog waste bag dispenser at reception; please respect other campers by picking up after your animals. We accept up to 2 pets per pitch and 1 in the rentals. A supplement per night is required.
02 Can we swim in the lake?
Swimming is not permitted in the lake, but you can walk around it, fish, or go pedal boating.
03 Is cleaning included in the rental price?
Cleaning is your responsibility; you will find everything needed to leave your rental clean in each accommodation. If you do not wish to clean, we offer an optional cleaning package for 50 euros. A deposit of 100 euros will be requested upon your arrival, and Camping L’Etruyère reserves the right to use it to cover any damage that may occur during your stay.
04 Is the pool heated?
You can enjoy water at 28°C, allowing you to use the pool even in bad weather. Open from May (weather permitting) to mid-September.
05 Is it possible to get fresh bread and pastries?
This is only possible in high season (July and August); orders must be placed at the bar the day before by 6 PM, and bread can be collected from the bar starting at 9:30 AM.
